How it works

You publish a specific file. The record stays public and checkable.

  1. 1.You publish a version

Later edits on your computer don't change it. A new file is a new record.

  2. 2.It's public on purpose

If it should stay private, don't publish it.

  3. 3.The identity is the file

Change one byte, and the fingerprint changes.

  4. 4.Built to outlast this site

The bytes live on the network. Removing a bookmark does not unpublish them.

  5. 5.What we don't claim

Built to last far beyond ordinary hosting — not a promise against every future.

Under the hood this is written to Arweave. You don't need Arweave tools to read a record.
